The situation
An advisory team was working through a live client mandate with multiple analytical workstreams running at once.
The senior team needed to remain focused on the client, transaction strategy, internal decision-making, and senior review.
At the same time, the engagement required significant work across sector research, market analysis, company profiles, competitive positioning, evidence gathering, and presentation development.
Adding permanent headcount was not appropriate for a short-duration mandate. The team needed additional capacity without changing how the client experienced the engagement.
The work
Lunon worked behind the advisory team and within the existing delivery structure.
The work included building market views, developing company and competitor profiles, synthesizing sector research, gathering evidence for key claims, producing analysis directly in the team's working format, supporting presentation-ready outputs, and updating workstreams as the mandate evolved.
The work was structured around the team's own standards, timelines, and review process. Lunon functioned as additional analytical capacity rather than a separate visible consulting layer.
What changed
The advisory team expanded delivery capacity during the live mandate without adding permanent headcount.
Senior team members remained focused on the client and the highest-value parts of the engagement.
The client continued to experience one integrated advisory team, while additional analytical work could be completed in parallel and to the required timeline.
